went to church in the morning .
first off was the currently combined sunday class. wooo, it's a little boring to start with, was about history of my church since it's going to be renovated soon. but soon realised that i have to join in the 'research' to have some fun. lols.. =Y
then to the service, it's alright as usual and found the topic this time round rather interesting.
THANKSGIVING,
saying thank you isn't all just about being polite, but it also includes things such as respect for the person and being grateful to the person.
and soon leads to you thinking that, did you ever thank God everytime he does something for u? be it something to your delights or dislikes?
not only stopping there, there is this story being told,
there was this little boy who ran away from home just because his mother nagged at him and told him to do things that he didn't like.
so he ran away from home but forgot to bring any money out to have his lunch outside.
as he ran and ran, he passed this eating place and stood outside looking at all those delicious food being served to the customers. as everyone in that town knows each other, the boss of this eating house invited that little boy in and treated him a meal with a cup of drink.
after eating, the little boy was so grateful to that uncle and thanked the uncle for giving him such a wonderful meal , unlike his mother.
when the uncle heard him saying such things, he bent down and came close to this little boy and said, all i've done is just giving u only ONE meal and you're being so thankful to me. but what about your parents? they've not only provided ONE meal but too many meals that can't be counted.
edited a little by myself. lols =P
so it comes to let people think and reflect on themselves whether they did appreciate every little things others have done for them, especially God .
alright, then andrew called me to tell that they were going into sentosa soon.
CRAP! i forgot about the birthday celebration for Jenson over at sentosa today! and i'm wearing jeans and shoes without bringing any change of clothing!
with no choice, i went there to meet them with jeans and shoes and then they told me Jenson can't make it . =.='''
nvm... so i played with them in jeans and it was quite alright i guess. hahahah =)
had some fun and we all headed over to AMK central to have some steamboat.
and it was totally sucky, each person was entitled to only 1 plate. 1!!!
there was not much food left and their attitude was real bad at the start. ZZZ!
guess i still have to THANK them , probably for nothing. lols =U
